I have been making sculpture for 25 years and exhibit my work at exhibitions throughout the year. I have permanent sculptures at London zoo and The Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton. I’m interested in capturing movement in animals and figures. My style of work includes the use of draped cloth, string and wire mixed with plaster, in an attempt to accentuate the muscle formation and anatomy of the subject that I’m creating. From an original piece of work, I cast a limited edition of weather proof sculptures in a variety of materials, including, polyester resin mixed with metal powder’s, marble or stone. Also “Cement fondue” or ” Secar” (White cement fondue) and more recently I’ve been casting small scale work in pewter.
