Jeremy’s work embodies a sense of mystery and wonder. He sculpts figures that show a delight in life and have a lightness of spirit, as they dance under the sky, talk with the birds or catch the falling stars. He grew up up in the beautiful landscapes of Shropshire and North Wales where he was instilled with a love for nature and felt at home in the natural world. He then spent a lot of time in India exploring meditation and mindfulness, where he was also inspired by the eastern meditative arts of buddhism and Zen. His work which is mostly cast as limited editions in metal resin or bronze, has been exhibited in sculpture gardens around the UK and is in both private and public collections. He currently lives in Newhaven and works from his studio by the river in Piddinghoe.
